At Four Pillars we love drinking gin all year round. But we love summer most of all. Our Australian summer is hot and long (too hot, and too long), but that gives us plenty of time to enjoy some perfect summer gin drinks.
So we've created a refreshing drink for each of our hero gins, tailored to the Australian summer. A perfect Rare Dry G&T after the baking heat of the beach. An ice cold Spiced Negroni Gin Spritz by the pool. A delicious Bloody & Lemon as the sun goes down in wine country. And a spicy Navy Strength Ginger Mule high above the city on a hot summer night. And this summer we’re bringing the gin bar to some of our favourite cultural festivals in Melbourne, Sydney and beyond.
You can enjoy a G&T in Queen Victoria Gardens each evening until March at MPavilion, Melbourne’s annual architectural installation. February is all about our Gin + Film festival with sizzling summer screenings matched to our refreshing summer serves at our fave independent cinemas: Golden Age Cinema for you Sydney folk, Thornbury Picture House for Melburnians and Academy Cinemas for our Auckland friends. Join us at Melbourne's newest summer festival, Can't Do Tomorrow, where we will be celebrating urban art complete with Four Pillars Gin in hand.
There's also excellent Four Pillars drinking to be had at outdoor bars. Melburnians, sip on a Miami Pink Gin Spritz at Arbory Afloat, a Rare Dry G&T on the rooftop of QT Melbourne or try a tasty Bloody & Lemon at Gin Palace's Summer Gin Fling. And we'll have all our fave summer serves at the Sebastian Beach Grill throughout February, and don't forget to join us at the end of the month for lots of summer gin fun during Melbourne Cocktail Week. Gin lovers in Sydney will be able to enjoy our signature summer drinks from the Four Pillars bar at Manly Wharf Bar.
And to inspire your Four Pillars summer drinking at home or out and about, we’ve got these fabulous risograph-printed posters around town and these cheeky little animations below popping up in the digital world too. All capture the essence of a Aussie summer. The afternoon on the beach. A refreshing dip in the pool while the cicadas sing. Walking along a dusty country road in the heat. Heading out on the town when it’s light and warm at 9pm. All with an ice-cold Four Pillars gin drink to quench your thirst.
