Sam made the move from Chef de Partie at South Yarra's Botanical Hotel to bartender, thinking he would get burnt less often and actually get the chance talk to customers.

After 4 years at Melbourne’s great Black Pearl - ranked number 10 of the best bars IN THE WORLD - Sam has collected a hatful of personal bartending awards.
To name a few - Australian winner of the Olmeca Altos Tahona Society 2015, 2014 winner of Bombay Sapphire’s Project Botanicals and Diageo World Class finalist.
