The simplest of all gin-based drinks, the G&T nevertheless has a colourful past. Born out of the necessity to make anti-malarial quinine palatable, it quickly became evident that tonic water was the perfect companion for gin.

INGREDIENTS:

METHOD:

  • Add ice and gin to a short glass
  • Top with tonic water
  • Garnish with citrus

Different gins work best with different garnishes - try grapefruit with Spiced Negroni Gin, and kaffir lime leaf and fresh ginger with Navy Strength Gin.
