What happens at Mr Fox, stays at Mr Fox.
At least, that’s the mantra of the bartenders.
In Sydney's Surry Hills, on Crown St near Cleveland, you'll find Mr Fox bar.
An understated shop front unveils a beautifully lit back bar, watched over by a wooden carved Tiki god statue.
The interior is cosy-Moroccan chic, with plenty of tables to crowd around over a few drinks and plates of Mediterranean tapas.
Rafi runs the cocktail show here. And he makes a mean dirty martini. Clean, stirred and ice cold, garnished with five juicy olives.
With Martini skill like this we can safely assume the folk at Mr Fox like a bit of gin.
“Juniper, juniper and more juniper!” confirms Rafi.
“Linda – more commonly known as Mrs Fox – even has a juniper scented perfume she wears whenever she’s here.”
Linda loves beautiful cocktails as much as we do, and is very handy with a camera to boot. Thanks to that Mr Fox has one of the best cocktail image feeds in town. Respect.
We’ll be ordering our next dirty Martini here, and might follow that up with the Four Pillars marmalade cocktail they’re currently perfecting.
