Bringing Britain a summer of drinking better gin… ...and two lucky (ok, awesome) bartenders the chance to make better gin Down Under.

Introducing the inaugural, annual Four Pillars Australian [Gin] Open.

A nationwide bartender competition where we challenge you, our friends and lovers in the great bars of Great Britain, to turn our better gin into better gin drinks.

You'll make drinks. We'll drink them. Punters will love them. And in the end two bartenders will win the trip of a lifetime to come make gin with us in Australia.

We’re dividing the country up into four regions. And yes, they are really loosely named (after all, everywhere in Britain looks close together when you’re from Australia).

  • The Midlands (including Wales and the South West), with a regional final in Bristol.
  • The North, with a regional final in Leeds.
  • The South (from London and the South East to the South Coast), with a regional final in London.
  • Scotland, with a regional final in Edinburgh.

Bartenders should enter two drinks (send us the names, specs and the story behind it), putting them on their menus and share the hell out of them on the socials using the appropriate #hashtags. One drink made with our signature Rare Dy Gin. And one with one of our two bartender-focused gins, Navy Strength Gin or Spiced Negroni Gin.

Eight bartenders and their drinks will be selected to attend each of the four regional finals, where they will make their drinks and tell their stories live.

The top two winners from each regional final will go through to a public semi-final in London, with the final four competing for the grand prize live at Imbibe on Monday 2 July.

It’s all about sharing the Australian [Gin] Love.

All our regional finalists will receive a personal Four Pillars Gin goodie bag (filled mostly with gin).

Our two regional winners in each of the four regions will receive a branded barrel for their bar, to be filled with the barrel-aged Four Pillars Gin cocktail of their choice.

In addition, our eight national finalists will be hosted in London, treated to an afternoon of designer Australian clothes shopping and delicious Australian gin cocktails. All on us.

And our two grand prize winners will get to fly to Australia to make their own gin!

How awesome is that?!
