I haven’t been at the distillery for the last couple of weeks. Taking a break from chilly Healesville and showcasing Four Pillars Gin around California and New York. I’ve gotta say, the response has been amazing. We’ve visited so many cool bars and showed the gin to some awesome people who have been so positive about it. There is still a long way to go is the US but we are off to a great start.

Back home, Wilma and Jude got a little (and well-deserved) rest this week, with the concrete floor in the distillery getting touched up, so we weren’t able to distill for a couple of days. Back in action soon though, and I’m sure the floor will be dirty again in no time.

The guys from Fancy Hanks were out at the distillery again on Friday night serving their delicious pulled beef burgers. Always a great vibe when they are here! Jye and Alex from Hippocampus Distillery in Perth also stopped in to say hi which was great. They gave they guys a taste of their Barrel Aged, which I’m told is delicious!

Next up is Tales. In not-so-positive news I had a rather unfortunate journey in, with my first flight cancelled, the second one delayed, and then ending with all my luggage being lost. Not ideal – especially when I’m stuck at the airport with Stu and Sam sending me photos of them sinking beers in a bar in New Orleans!! Fingers crossed the luggage gets here soon. Some fresh undies would be nice.
