Pure Kisumé Gin


We always wanted to make a Japanese-style gin, characterised by restraint and the delicate flavours of modern Japan in Australia.

So we were super-excited when the team from Kisumé joined us to distill an elegant gin inspired both by the restaurant’s name, translated as ‘pure obsession with beauty’, and the exquisite food they serve.

There’s fresh Yarra Valley nashi pear and Fuji apple, yuzu from Queensland, Tasmanian wasabi, strawberry gum, lemon myrtle, sesame seed, sansho pepper, ume and orris root. Plus a splash of Australian Junmai Sake to finish. Perfect for pure cocktails, or simply served chilled over ice.
